Privacy Policy
The short version: this is a static site. It has no analytics, no cookies, no trackers and no third-party requests. If you email us, we have your email.
1. What we collect on the site
Nothing. Emberwright is a set of static HTML files. There is no account system, no comment system, no form, no newsletter signup and no advertising.
- No cookies are set by this site.
- No analytics. We do not run Google Analytics or any equivalent, first-party or otherwise.
- No third-party requests. All styles, scripts and artwork are served from this site’s own files. No fonts, maps, embeds, videos or social widgets are loaded from anyone else’s servers, so no third party learns that you visited.
- No fingerprinting and no local storage of anything about you.
The one piece of JavaScript on the site opens the mobile menu, fills in the current year, and closes FAQ items. It sends nothing anywhere. The site works with JavaScript disabled.
2. Server logs
Whoever hosts this site may keep standard access logs — typically IP address, timestamp, requested page and user agent — as an ordinary part of running a web server. We do not use those logs to build profiles, and we do not combine them with anything else. Their retention is governed by the host’s own policy.
3. If you email us
Writing to editors@brinexalorix.info means we hold your message and your address in an ordinary mailbox. We use it to reply, and to correct an essay if that is what your message is about.
- We do not add you to any list. There is no list.
- We do not sell, share or publish your address.
- If we publish a correction or an image you sent, we credit the name you ask us to use, or none.
- Correspondence is kept while it is useful and deleted when it is not.
4. Children
This site is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including them.
5. Links out
Essays may cite publishers, libraries and institutions. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else’s site under their policy, not ours.
6. Your rights
Because we hold nothing except email you chose to send us, requests are simple: write to us and ask what we have, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. We will do it. Readers in the UK can also raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date at the top. Given how little the site does, changes are unlikely.
